Since first creating Jennifer Wang Bears in 2014, my idea of what a ‘successful blog’ should look like has dramatically changed.

Instead of placing the focus on myself, I hope, with God’s loving guidance, to strive to use my talents to serve others and glorify my Creator.

In effect, the focus of my blog is no longer on Jennifer Wang, but on bears. Jesus Himself says:

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit;
for without Me you can do nothing.
(John 15:5)

I can design. I can create. I can crochet. But I should never lose sight of what is most important to me, and that is my relationship with my Savior. It is through Him alone that I am able to “bear” anything – be it good fruit or the weight of my own cross.

Wishing you much love,
Jennifer Wang

Many, many thanks to the legendary Michael Sellick for his skill and guidance, as well as Sharon Ojala for her limitless generosity!

  1. Hi Jennifer,
I have been working on the Knot Forgotten Knit Monkey pattern, but I can no longer access the pattern. Is there any way I could get access to the pattern so that I can finish? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

    1. Hi, Kelly! Yes, the KF Monkey was temporarily removed, as it no longer fits the sizing guidelines for Knot Forgotten. I’ve sent you an email with the old pattern so that you’re still able to finish. Happy New Year to you, too! (PS: please check your spam folder if it doesn’t appear) 🙂

    2. Hi, I’m looking for the Knot Forgotten Monkey and Owl patterns, but can’t find them/unavailable. I have knit loads of the bear ones, can you help???

    3. Hi, Lynn! I’m so sorry, the old, larger Owl and Monkey patterns have been discontinued since they no longer fit the Knot Forgotten size guidelines. I currently have the smaller owl available on the blog here, but the monkey is not yet ready.

    4. Thank you Jennifer, thats a shame wanted to complete the collection. Will hope that the monkey will be available soon. 🙂

    1. Hi, Elizabeth. I’m so happy you love the new knitted designs! The printable version of the patterns will become available soon through the Knot Forgotten website 🙂

  2. do you sell the happy little rainbow hippo already made? I would love to by one for my best friend who has been with me through a lot and she loves hippos.

  3. I love to hear a fellow crafts woman professing Her faith as well as her craft!!! I love my Lord Jesus Christ & try to serve Him each day in some way! I wish you the very best in your craft bc I’ve been knitting & crocheting 45+ years & never done amigurumi but I love the ministry you’re doing with your bears. I can imagine how a parent would feel recieveing a bear for their child that didn’t live when born !!! It’s a true gift
Of LOVE given to them… You’re AWESOME Jennifer…

    1. Oh….. Pat, your comment just made me burst into tears..! Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to leave me some love. I find it can be all too easy to lose track of what I’m doing and why, so I am SUPER grateful for support from like-minded Christian crafters like you. Being an expectant mum myself, I know how devastating it would be to suddenly lose my little one, and so I jumped at the chance to get involved in making the bears (I think the ladies who run Last Cuddles Bears Project have the hugest hearts). Thank you again for your comment ^_^ You’re totally awesome as well, Pat!

  4. Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ. Phil 1: 6

May God bless your and you family.

    1. Thank you so, so much, Vone. I absolutely love that verse, and it was exactly what I needed to read. It’s always encouraging to meet fellow Christian crocheters online ~ and you can also knit! I really need to teach myself soon.
I was checking out your website, and your dolls are GORGEOUS! That’s so sweet that you’ve dedicated your shop to your late father. May God also bless you in your work and home-life.

      Much love,
